As a passionate advocate for the preservation of coastal ecosystems, I am deeply committed to understanding their intricate dynamics and the essential roles they play in our environment. My research focuses on oyster denitrification, exploring how these vital organisms contribute to nutrient cycling and water quality in coastal habitats. By examining the ecological functions of oysters, I aim to highlight their significance in maintaining ecosystem health, particularly in the coastal waters of Hong Kong. In addition to my ecological research, I utilize my knowledge in remote sensing and machine learning to develop models that identify and monitor these habitats. By integrating advanced technologies with ecological insights, I strive to enhance our understanding and support the conservation of these vital ecosystems.
